The goals of the project with 8 participants are to develop curricula, handouts and exercises for the students of PDO and to train the young teachers for guiding activ and autonomous learning. Konrad Krajewski, President of “Förderverein Myanmar e.V.” is staying in PDO from February 7 to 14. He wants to succeed in negotiatons with PDO-principal U Nayaka in improving the conditions in the orphan children in the Hostel. Besides that he is going to negotiate the implementation of new methods of teacher training ( New teacher training Center – NTTC ) in the new NTTC-School, which will be inaugurated in June 2013.

On 24 January Konrad Krajewski, President of the Förderverein Myanmar e.V. travels to Mandalay for inspecting all ongoing projects of the Förderverein at the PDO. On 2 February 2013 also Karl Bruch travels to a 5-week mission as an expert of the seniors Expert Service (SES) to Mandalay for organizing the repair service (in particular the replacement of defective batteries) for the solar projects. 19th of November 2012 Mrs. Christine Kiessling arrived at Mingun. This is her last report before she left. Inbetween she arrived in time to celebrate Christmas at home. It was the last of her 5-week work in Mingun. As always wonderful to read how things developped.
Training of Kindergardenstaff in Mingun 3rd week Mrs. Christine Kiessling recently sent 2 recommendable reports from Mingun. Now she wrote about her impressions from the 3rd week, where she- among other things- took part at Moe Moe´s wedding celebrations.
19th of November 2012 Mrs. Christine Kiessling arrived at Mingun. She will give training in the local kindergarden for the teachers and will arrange the furniture, tools and toys in the kindergarden building.
